Premier Marketing Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries recognize and are concerned about the lives, property, and health of all employees and stakeholders. The company is committed to conducting business in a manner that prevents accidents and work-related illnesses, as well as supporting resources for management to create a safe working atmosphere and environment. This includes providing sufficient and appropriate safety tools and equipment for workers to ensure orderliness and safety in the workplace. It is considered important that executives, supervisors, and all employees cooperate both during work operations and in their lives outside of work
Occupational Health and Safety Policy
Premier Marketing Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries recognize and are deeply concerned about the lives, property, and health of all employees and stakeholders. Therefore, it is deemed appropriate to implement occupational safety, health, and working environment operations to cultivate awareness and cooperation among all employees and stakeholders. To this end, an Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Environment Policy has been established as a guideline for implementation, as follows:
- Allocate sufficient and appropriate resources for the implementation of the aforementioned system, including compliance with laws and international standards or appropriate standards for each business.
- Provide knowledge regarding occupational safety, health, and working environment management to employees and stakeholders, while promoting and supporting the cultivation of safety awareness among all employees and ensuring their serious adherence to practices.
- Establish a committee responsible for occupational safety, health, and the working environment to strictly implement legal guidelines and closely monitor operations.
- The achievement of safe work practices shall be considered a criterion in the annual performance evaluation.
Safety and Occupational Health Objectives
- The lost-time injury frequency rate must be zero
- The fire incident rate in all areas must be zero
Operational Guidelines
- Accidents caused by unsafe environmental conditions, such as limited work space, machinery without safety guards at hazardous points, damaged pipe covers, broken or fractured equipment, sharp metal hand tools that can cause cuts, and wet work areas leading to slips, etc.
Safety Operation Guidelines
- Develop an On-The-Job Training (OJT) plan to accommodate employee leave and prevent work-related accidents in cases where employees cover for each other on holidays.
- Install sufficient additional hazard warning signs and provide safety guards for hazardous machinery areas.
- Organize and store equipment with clear categorization to ensure safety in the working environment (5S).
- Conduct employee training to review potential hazards and reinforce the importance of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure they are ready for use before commencing actual work.
- Accidents caused by unsafe acts, such as not turning off machinery before cleaning or maintenance, selecting the wrong type of equipment for the task, lifting objects too large to grip securely, not wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) during work, not following safety work procedures, and working carelessly or playing around while on duty, etc.
Safety Operation Guidelines
- Conduct employee training to review potential hazards and organize safety awareness campaigns.
- Review and ensure understanding of correct work procedures.
- Communicate safety information to all employees.
- Regularly supervise, review, emphasize, and ensure understanding of standard work procedures that require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Occupational Health and Safety Plan
- Conduct annual employee health check-ups to monitor chronic diseases and identify root causes of illnesses.
- Coordinate with external agencies and the Social Security Office to provide vaccination services for employees.
- Track employee recovery during medical treatment and provide necessary medication or monitoring equipment.
- Perform regular workplace safety audits to monitor and prevent work-related accidents.
- Conduct annual fire evacuation drills to ensure emergency preparedness.
- Organize activities to foster and stimulate a safety-conscious culture among staff.
- Provide basic first aid training for both employees and supervisors.
- Conduct training on hazardous chemical handling and perform emergency drills for chemical spill scenarios.
