Young Self-Sufficient Farmers Project

Premier Canning Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary, has adopted a social responsibility policy to guide its annual corporate strategy. The company considers various projects based on the analysis of stakeholders within a 5-kilometer radius of its operational area, following the Department of Industrial Works' CSR-DIW Continuous approach. With the local community as the primary stakeholder, the company has enhanced its collaboration with them to implement the "Bio-Extract from Fish Scraps to Reduce Household Expenses" project. This initiative utilizes fish waste from the production process. The company partners with Klong Sabat Chak School by fostering participation in the Young Self-Sufficient Farmers project, providing knowledge and demonstrating how to make bio-extract from fish scraps for use in the school's organic vegetable plots. These vegetables are used in school meals, helping to reduce lunch expenses for 60 students. Additionally, the students gain knowledge and the ability to make bio-extract from fish scraps for use in their home vegetable gardens.
