Sustainable packaging procurement 2022

        As part of the procurement efforts to drive long-term business sustainability, Premier Canning Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary, is committed to research and development in collaboration with reputable packaging manufacturers who share the same dedication to sustainability goals. This is to ensure that the various packaging materials used in the company's production consider social and environmental responsibility, promote maximum utilization, and enable the reduction of resource consumption. Through the efforts and cooperation of packaging manufacturers, the company has adopted new types of packaging that will continuously support the business's sustainability approach in the future.

        Packaging is a crucial component of products and can significantly impact the environment. Therefore, we have studied the feasibility of piloting primary and secondary packaging developed by our partners. Additionally, the procurement team has studied and co-designed to achieve the use of sustainable packaging that reduces environmental impact, starting with packaging used for the company's own brands and subsequently presenting it to interested customer groups.
