Management of Production Process Waste and Canteen Food Waste 2022

        P.M. Food Company Limited (PMF), a subsidiary, has continued the social responsibility policy of Premier Marketing Public Company Limited to enhance the value chain in managing waste from production processes by expanding efforts to utilize production resources efficiently. This has led to the implementation of a project to produce fertilizer from waste generated in the production process and food scraps from the canteen. This initiative aims to reduce the issue of production waste and food waste disposal into the community.

        The company has researched and purchased one Composter food waste disposal machine, capable of producing approximately 2,000 kilograms of fertilizer per month. Analysis of samples has shown a high nitrogen content, making it suitable for vegetable gardens, leafy greens, and foliage ornamental plants. In 2022, the company began distributing this fertilizer to employees with home vegetable gardens to help reduce their expenses by using it as a substitute for chemical fertilizers. The fertilizer has also been distributed to external organizations in the surrounding community that have vegetable gardens.
