Community Educational Support Project: "Computers for Kids"

P.M. Food Co., Ltd. (PMF), a subsidiary, has adopted the social responsibility policy of Premier Marketing Public Company Limited to formulate its annual corporate strategies. This is done by analyzing stakeholders and holding dialogues with communities to develop projects in line with the Department of Industrial Works' CSR – DIW Continuous guidelines, now in its 12th consecutive year. The company has continuously collaborated with communities to implement projects based on community needs since 2013-2024, under the "Canteen for Kids" project. This aligns with P.M. Food's core competency in managing food production hygiene. The company has supported over 10 schools in the communities where its employees reside. Based on the latest community dialogue meeting, there was a summarized request for the company to support schools with computers, smart TVs for classrooms, and internet signals within schools, in line with the Ministry of Education's policy to increase learning and teaching channels via the internet. Therefore, the company initiated the "Computers for Kids" project for schools in these communities, which are home to its employees.

In the past year, 2024, the company implemented the "Computers for Kids" project at one school: Nadee Subdistrict Kindergarten. In addition to dialogue with the school's education committee, the project also received cooperation from various entities, including the Subdistrict Administrative Organization (SAO), the sub-district chief, village headmen, business partners, employees, and local villagers. They collaborated on installing and wiring the internet within the school to distribute the internet signal to all classrooms and installed smart TVs in the classrooms for the school.
