COVID-19 Relief Project

P.M. Food Company Limited (PMF), a subsidiary, has adopted the social responsibility policy of Premier Marketing Public Company Limited as its annual corporate strategy. The company considers various projects based on stakeholder analysis to develop initiatives in line with the Department of Industrial Works' CSR-DIW Continuous approach, informed by community dialogues held during the critical situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

During June 2021, there was a surge in COVID-19 infections, and patients experienced increasingly severe symptoms. This resulted in hospitals becoming insufficient to accommodate the number of patients requiring treatment. Consequently, the company collaborated with local organizations such as Kabin Buri Hospital to request support for the construction of an ICU-Cohort Ward to cope with the daily increase in critical patients. Additionally, the company worked with the Kabin Buri Industrial Estate to request support for the construction of five restrooms for the Ban Khok Udom Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital to help alleviate the hardship caused by the situation. The company also distributed its products to people in nearby communities. The objectives of this project were as follows:

1. To provide assistance to people in the community in accessing medical treatment urgently during the crisis of medical equipment shortages.
2. To provide support in facilitating the admission and treatment of the increasing number of patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
