Adding Value to Waste Raw Materials: "Biogas Slurry as a Chemical Fertilizer Substitute"
Driven by a strategy for collaborative sustainable business, we actively explore opportunities to create products and services that maximize the economic benefits of natural resources. This also involves mitigating the impact of discarding leftover raw materials from the production process, thereby elevating the value chain for all stakeholders.
Previously, leftover raw materials from the tuna production process, such as heads, guts, bones, tails, and fish skin, were sold as low-cost animal feed. By adding value to these waste materials, which still possess beneficial properties and quality, they are now utilized as raw materials for producing concentrated deep-sea fish extract liquid. This product serves as a substitute for chemical fertilizers in agriculture, leading to benefits and safety for individuals, communities, society, and the environment throughout the value chain.
The company actively promotes this concentrated deep-sea fish extract product to farmers and organic agricultural practitioners, building confidence in its quality and safety. The product has received Input Certification from the Organic Agriculture Certification Thailand (ACT) office, a standard used for IFOAM Accredited registration, under the brand name "POWER FISH."
